In order to price a silkscreening job there are two key parts. The cost for us to physically produce the shirts, and the cost for the supplies/equipment. Our price per print (PPP) is $2.50. This means that each one color design we put on a shirt costs $2.50. Each additional color is $0.50. So if you have a design that consists of two colors, and you want it on both the front and back of a shirt, our cost to print would be $2.50(1 print)+$0.50(additional color)= $3.00 (for the front print) and an additional $3.00 for the back print. For a total of $6.00 + the cost of the shirt.
The second part of pricing an order is the equipment/supplies needed for the job. I will explain this using the previous example (two prints front and back with a two color design). In order to produce your shirt, we first need to put your design on a film (A clear, matte kind of paper we print your design on ($9.95 ea.)). This film is used to transfer your design onto a screen. For a two color design, you are going to need two films for two screens. Films, once purchased, are reusable. As long as you have them you will never have to repurchase them again.
Each color in your design will require a film and corresponding screen. For the two color job in our example, you will need two screens. We offer two options for printing screens. The first is a RENTAL ($20.00 each screen). This means that as soon as we are finished printing your job we are going to remove your image from our screens. In the future if you would like to reprint this job, you are going to have to re-rent the screens. The other option is a screen PURCHASE (74.95 ea. Screen). If you purchase your screens, you will own them outright. This is the recommended way to setup your first order. If you plan on printing future jobs, and you own your screens, you will never have to rent/purchase them again. Making your future orders much cheaper!

If you need us to design something for you, our artwork charge is $25.00 per hour, with an hourly quote given upon receiving design details. All orders less than 50 shirts require a $50.00 setup fee. Bulk orders do not require the $50.00 setup fee, saving you a doller per shirt instantly! We have blanks avaliable in store, or you are welcome to bring your own!
